For Montyoum's Dead Fantasy 3

Mm. It's not finished still, obviously--and I'd hoped to be able to do full shading, but thanks to school, papers, and a death in the family, it's just not going to be possible. I leave tomorrow afternoon to go to the wake, and my internet connection will be spotty at best until Sunday evening, so just... best to get it in now, and I can finish it later if it wins/at my own discretion.

Anyway, inspired off of FFXII's Viera. (See the tail?) Because the outfit's pretty much made entirely of leather, I couldn't use the bright colors rikku would normally use. So instead, I recalled some of the darker, subdued reds and near blacks of her wetsuit from FFX, worked with some browns and greens, and just kept things on the desaturated side. (I kinda feel like a more neutral scheme works better with what the feel of a Viera regardless of being constricted by the kind of material it's made of.) I thought making the hair piece blue was kinda appropriate, given her headand. I thought about trying to make faux-rabbit ears for her, but thought that might be too over-the-top. I never could decide which weapon to stick with, and figured if I made two I'd have a better chance. (Hopefully that's not cheating.)
